Master Tipper
is half of that elusive duo CRUNCH with his partner MIKE WALLIS
who supercede IDM and fit the GDM category (genius dance music).
Tipper is also a dominating force in the world breakbeat scene, and has paved
the way
for many artists to follow. He has just finished his 5.1 surround sound album
to be released later
this year on DVD in full surround sound. (Keep yer ears peeled to echolocation
for more info on this).
Tipper....a pioneer of experimental breaks and well, just plain god-like.

His live set
is what those idb's have been anxiously waiting for!
Richard Bailey has a brain to be reckoned with...
You feel like you're floating, but yet you see the ground travelling by
extremely fast as if you were looking out the window of a train.
We don't have to say much, really. Deep exploration.
Listen for yourselves...

Jeff McIlwain,
now this should be a household name.
How can those humans listen to pop music when this is out there?
Everyone we've handed L'usine's albums to has bought it.
[There are a couple of selections left in the  e

It resonates. It's a symphony of future sounds.

They recently hosted the WARP TOUR in Los Angeles and
each continuously capture their audiences attention and
serve up a set of mind expanding music to knock
you out of your everyday headspace.

Remixing live
from their laptops, the ladies offer a sort of
hybrid of deejaying and laptop shenanigans. Their sets include
original material as well as tracks from their favorite artists,
appealing to audiences with short attention spans. The audio
drives the visuals (literally) and offers layers of motion
texture and color, rather than specific imagery.
The results?
A heightened experience of music...from the inside out.

DJ v0lljude is Maer Ben-Yisrael, founder of Dub Beautiful Collective which
hosts a variety of live electronic music events in the Bay Area. v0lljude
spins a sundry array of music ranging from psychedelic chill, tweaked
jazz, ambient, ethno-electronic, atmospheric dance, and all other forms
of organic electronic music. His musical output reflects a dichotomy of
truly extraordinary as well as the absurdly rational art forms. Music
is meant to stir the deepest thoughts and emotions...or instead to coerce
you to cut ties with the whole of reality and have a really fucking good
time. |

Devan Simunovich (aka C-TRL) is one of the leading visual artists in San
Francisco's electronic scene, and owns the largest collection of classic
macintosh computers we've ever laid our eyes upon! He'll be installing
some of his tweaked out machines at our environment for your interactive
pleasure...and will be performing a live visual barrage of electrified
material that he's created. |

Steven Magnuson
(aka P R O L I X) uses filmic confection and projection to create immersive
installations involving the physics of light and color, the body, and
the film emulsion as a metaphor for drift in meaning. Interrupting the
projection, the spectator peels away the layers of subjectivity, undoing
the relentless accumulation of connotation. |
